Planning is ongoing! We started several months ago after talking about a trip like this for a long time. Then our friend Nancy told us about a trip she and her husband were on and that kind of kicked us off on our own trip planning! We’re actually staying in the same Airbnb they stayed at in Tuscany.
We had originally hoped to visit France, Spain and Italy, but when we started looking at timing, routes, etc. it seemed more reasonable to cut it down to just France (mainly south) and Italy (mainly north).
It’s no coincidence that the areas we’re visiting are known for food and wine! If you know us, you’d have guessed that already.
